✨ Free shipping on orders $50+

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026 (added: wishlists, shipping addresses, contact form, and review emails)

POMMIN is a small, independent 3D-printing shop. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit or order from pommin.com, why we collect it, and how it's handled. We keep this as simple and honest as we can — we don't sell your data, and we only collect what we need to run the shop.

Information you give us

Depending on how you shop with us, we may collect:

  • Card checkout (Pay Online): your name, email, shipping address, payment details, and an optional phone number are entered directly on Stripe's own secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that. We receive your order confirmation (name, email, shipping address, items, amount) and keep it in our order records so we can fulfill and ship your order. Any phone number you give Stripe stays with Stripe (we don't receive or store it). If you're signed in, your email is passed to Stripe so it's pre-filled at checkout.
  • Local Pickup orders: the name and email you enter (required), and phone number if you provide it (optional), so we can confirm your order and coordinate pickup.
  • Product reviews: the name, email, star rating, and written review (and any photos) you submit. Your email is used only to prevent duplicate reviews and is never shown publicly. Reviews are held privately until we approve them, then your name, rating, review text, and photos are shown publicly on the product page — don't include anything you don't want visible to other shoppers.
  • Contacting us directly: the name, email, and message you send through our Contact Us form, or anything you include in an email to us.
  • Wishlist: the products you save to your wishlist. Without signing in, your wishlist is kept in your browser only. If you sign in, we also save a copy on our server, tied to your email, so it follows you across devices.
  • Signing in ("My Account"): the email you enter to look up your past orders and total spent. There's no password — we email you a one-time sign-in link instead. If we've never seen your email before (no past order or sign-in), we also ask for your name at this step, so we know who you are. Once you click the link, your browser is remembered for future visits (see "Information collected automatically" below).

Information collected automatically

Your shopping cart is stored in your browser (using localStorage) — clearing your browser data clears it. If you sign in via "My Account," we also save a copy of your cart's contents (what's in it and the quantities) on our server, tied to your email, so it follows you if you shop again from a different device or browser. This happens automatically while you're signed in, not only at checkout. Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information — such as IP address and browser type — as part of delivering the site to you. We don't run any analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising pixels on pommin.com.

If you sign in to view your order history, we set one functional cookie in your browser (not an analytics or advertising cookie) so you don't have to re-verify your email every visit. It expires after 90 days of inactivity, or immediately if you click "Sign Out of This Device."

How we use your information

  • To process and fulfill your order, and contact you about it.
  • To send order confirmation emails, and notifications when your order ships or is ready for pickup.
  • To email you a one-time request to review a product you've purchased.
  • To display approved product reviews.
  • To respond if you contact us directly.
  • To let you look up your own order history and total spent, if you choose to sign in.
  • If you sign in, your saved cart and wishlist (what's in them, and the email they're tied to) are visible to us in an internal dashboard only we can access — this lets us follow up if you have questions about an in-progress order, but we don't use it to contact you unprompted about items you haven't purchased.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

We only share information with the services that help us run the shop, and only as much as each needs to do its job:

  • Stripe — processes card payments and handles your payment details directly; we never receive your full card number.
  • Resend — sends order confirmation, shipping and pickup notification, and review-request emails, order-history sign-in links, and the messages you send through our Contact Us form, on our behalf.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the site and our order, review, saved-cart, and wishlist database.

We don't share your information with anyone else, and we don't sell or rent it.

How long we keep it

Orders (card and Local Pickup alike) are kept in our database so you can look up your order history and total spent — indefinitely, unless you ask us to delete it. Product reviews are kept until you ask us to remove one. A saved cart (for signed-in customers) is kept until it's empty — removing everything from your cart while signed in clears the saved copy too — or until you ask us to delete it. A saved wishlist (for signed-in customers) is kept until you remove its items or ask us to delete it. You can ask us to delete any information we hold about you at any time (see Contact below).

Children's privacy

POMMIN is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Your choices

You can always shop as a guest — signing in to view order history is entirely optional and never required to check out. There's no password to create, and you can sign out of a device at any time from the "My Account" page. To ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or have it deleted (including removing a submitted review, your saved cart or wishlist, or your order history), just reach out.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page. Since we're a small shop, treat this as a plain-language summary of our practices rather than a formal legal document.
