Materials & Safety Info
Every POMMIN piece is 3D printed to order, and we want you to know exactly what you're getting. Please read this before gifting or using your order, especially around kids.
What our products are made of
We print with PLA and PETG, two common 3D printing plastics. Both are rigid, lightweight, and not flexible like silicone — they can crack or snap if bent, dropped hard, or stepped on. Small details (thin letters, clicker buttons, earring posts) are the most fragile part of any piece.
Not food safe
Our products are not food safe and should never touch food, drinks, or go in your mouth. Standard PLA/PETG prints aren't sealed or certified for food contact, and layer lines can trap bacteria even after washing. Don't use our keychains, charms, or earrings as utensils, drink accessories, or teething items.
Not a toy — choking hazard
These are decorative items, not toys, and have not been tested to toy safety standards. Many pieces are small, have small attached parts (rings, chains, clasps, backings), or can break into small pieces — all choking hazards for young children. Keep away from children under 3, and supervise older children closely if they handle one. When in doubt, treat any piece as adult-only.
Care instructions
- Hand wipe only — don't submerge in water or put in the dishwasher.
- Keep away from high heat (hot cars, stovetops, the microwave) — PLA especially can warp or soften well below boiling temperature.
- Store somewhere it won't get crushed, bent, or dropped.
- Earrings: remove before sleeping, swimming, or showering, same as you would any lightweight jewelry.
General disclaimer
POMMIN pieces are handmade, small-batch, decorative novelty items. We inspect each order before it ships, but 3D printed plastic isn't as durable as metal or solid molded plastic, and normal wear, drops, or misuse can cause breakage. POMMIN isn't responsible for injury, damage, or allergic reaction from use outside of normal, careful, adult handling as described above.
